Welcome.

 

Sawmill School of Music is located in a beautiful, spacious studio near Albuquerque's Old Town. The studio has a living-room atmosphere, with couches and comfortable chairs, a gorgeous grand piano,  guitars and amplifiers. 

 

Instructor Ian Kaplan has  taught music in Boston, New York, San Diego and Albuquerque since 1995. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Berklee College of Music where he studied rock, blues, and jazz guitar, and majored in Composition. He also has a Master's Degree in Music Education.

Instructor Michael Russo has been a passionate and capable musician for over ten years. He has a background in a wide spectrum of musical styles, from rock to classical. He studied guitar at Southwestern University and is currently a graduate student at UNM.
